Has anyone heard/seen anything about a HMM Kotobukiya DiBison? Personally, I think it could be a great kit.

You know something, you aren't the only waiting for an HMM Dibison. I love that zoid and at one point I thought it was going to be the next HMM after seeing it in the Box art of the Naomi Gunsniper HMM. Getting my fifth Dibison motorized kit just goes to show how much i love it. My take on is that since it wasn't such a big seller like the Elephander, we might not see it as an HMM anytime soon. At least that's how I look at it or my opinion I should say. If they really wanted to make it, it should've been out during the release of Lightning Saix and Van's AB Bladeliger HMMs.

We will most likely get a HMM Dibison, eventually, just like the long-awaited Berserk Fury and Shadowfox. Knowing Koto, we'll probably get a 'standard' 'Schubaltz Version' first, and later an 'upgraded' 'Leena/Rinon Special'.

Thread title is a bit misleading... Anyway, I stated this recently on another thread; a few months ago, durring a live internet podcast held at some convention in Japan, Koto announced alot of stuff (including new details on Panzer and Fury to name a few things) At one point, they showed just an image of a real Buffalo..good implications anyone?

Its is alright! :D besides, you had a good hunch, there will be an HMM Dibison, that much we can say for sure. We just don't know anything else. If any news does come up, check the Koto news thread. After HMM Shadow Fox, we kind of gave up on making several threads for each new release (to my dismay, but whatever). Plus, Liem is not on alot anymore, so updates to the home page have not happened since HMM Godos was announced

Yep, I would be in line for an HMM-DiBi, too. Love the kit as is, would really love an HMM version. :)

...Honestly, it seems kind of plain to me? Of course, this is just the top. The dibison always struck me as a fairly detailed Zoid. This Koto one will be the first I've ever gotten, but I hope to get the one with metal horns/hooves in the future. I wonder how big this one will be?

From the first top down photo I thought it was going to be great, but the head looks off to me - with the bulging horns and OTT rocket launchers it slightly loses the realism of the original and looks a bit more cartoony. The horns also seem to have panel details or vents etched into them, which is a bit odd given their intended purpose. I prefer the solid metal approach (obviously that was never going to happen with an HMM, but chrome horns are a definite possibility) I also hope it is more posable than those promo shots would indicate, otherwise I don't see any reason to choose this over the original.

Does Dibison have a muzzle? Or some kind of mouth-protector? Well it's probably not too different to what they did with Saber Tiger's nose.

Leena/Rinon's will likely be an 'upgraded' version - bigger horns, more and bigger guns + missiles and more rocket launchers.. I'd like them to make a HMM Cannonfort some day.

It's unlikely that this will come with metal hooves and horns, doesn't it? Hopefully the legs can be arranged for an "El Toro" style attack stance. Now I'll just need a 1/100 Gundam in stylings of the 'Matador de toros'.

Looks like either it's missing the quad cannon over the neck or it's in some kind of fold-out system (looks like there might be a hinge there). It also looks like the big gun hump and even the hip guns could be in turrets.

Interesting news, and the pics are great (for a prototype kit). The horns on the head looks to have been beefed up quite a bit. Same goes for the multiple gun mounts on the shoulders. Now, is it just me, or does the entire gun mount on the shoulders look removable? I wonder what gimmicks Koto has designed into this kit. There is no pic on how the cockpit looks like, or where the zoids core goes.

Yea I'm sold; Dibison is one of my top 5 favorite official Zoids of all time. Now if they make an Elephander....I think I can die happy.
