The Geno's claws seem identical than the Koto for me...

Yeah, I think that is because, more or less, those are based on the claw of the Kotobukiya Geno Saurer/Breaker. In spite of Blade Liger's odd neck, I'm still excited about this. They look impressively posable.

Poseability is the hallmark and selling point of Reovltech figures. And happily, zoids provides Revoltech with a non-humanoid line of figures to produce. Hopefully zoids revoltech will do well, in which case we will start seeing limited edtion re-colours.

But, if they are inspired by the Koto, the will be scaled as the Koto. Which means big toys, and not like the FZ ones.

Not exactly. They could be scaled down, similar to KFM.

hmm wat to think wat to think. these are prototypes and the designs clearly have flaws as till stated earlier. and because they are protos, the mold quality looks poor. however if this does evolve, we are likely to see some very impressive kits. i kno nothing about revoltech but from wat ive gathered these arent model kits but "action figures"? it sounds interesting to say the least. i would like to see this evolve just as much as the HMM line. dont kno if i am interested yet. this needs to go somewhere before we can assume anything more

in regards to the whole TT thing, screw them. the HMM line is doing better than all of thier lines put together. thats just f***ing sad and depressing. i say they either drop it to some other company who cares, or make new lines worldwide. if they were to show Genesis in english (or other languages) in other parts of the world, that would give them an exuse for other areas to start up a new line. asking to make another anime is asking alot at the current time.

Zoids have be around the world and back.. and yet all of the lines have died but in Japan. It would be a mistake for TT them selves to go worldwide, for zoids to be in different countries a toy companies there would have to do it. And I'm sure there are a few sitting on the right to release zoids, such as Hasbro is doing but they are not (at least at the moment) because it failed at one point, even if it was good at one time.
Also though not 100% sure that the HMM line maybe doing well but I highly doubt better than all Tomy's lines put together, for different companies to be bringing out zoids, which means having to pay TT to use the designs, it means Tomy in the long run has done and is doing it's job. They are keeping zoids alive.

Sorry for reviving an old post, hope I don't get into trouble.

But has there been anything new on this line? I have been trying to find information but I can't seem to. So is there more news? Or has it become a bust?

Those prototypes were only being shown at a show late last year, and they weren't even complete then. I think it's still a bit early to be expecting them on the shelves.

They look cool. Must haves for me too. Revoltech figures are generally all about the same non-scale so they can all be about the same price. Bulky humanoid figures (like mecha) are about 15cm high and the Fraulein-series are a bit taller because they are more slender. So I'd speculate these Zoids to be maybe 20cm in length or so.

@ zoidiect >>> Don't worry about dragging tails. Revoltechs are articulated all over, so they can be put in virtually any pose you want.

I won't worry about the articulations too. But the size, they seem to have the size of an Hasbro Action Figure... I would have prefered bigger.

daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! way better than i was expecting. the colors just stand out so amazingly and look at the amazing articulation. im just glad that this wasnt a lost causse because for a while, there was zero news on the production staus of these 2 zoids.

here is the revoltech zoids equation; Zoids + cool + awesome + love + soul + sexy'ness=revoltech zoids. you dont need to be in honors math like i am to understand that much now do you?

so are these like model kits or are they pre-built poseable action figures?
