Jointed action figures of zoids? Sound interesting, but I prefers to build zoids. It might help generate more interest in zoids for people originally are put off the building process. Revoltech figures seems pretty small and I have yet to find quadruped action figure done by revoltech. I have too many questions to decide about buying these zoids. As for TT losing interest, it is still Transformer movie year. I remeber in 2007, when first Tranformer movie came out, At the time the only zoids we had look forward to were HMM Blade Liger, GenoSaurer, and Sheild Liger MK-II. The Zoids Graphic line was just rumor at the time, we didn't know whether it was going to be book or zoids kit (it was both!). We got spoiled by 2008, with flood of new zoids and releases. 2010 might be another year for zoids.

I really hope that's the case mate- this year has been very much short of new TT zoids. I do much prefer to focus on the traditional types even if I a completist about the rest too.

So, really, there is no word on if Revoltech is making all new Zoids, all new toys based on Zoids, or re-releasing old Zoids. :) Wish they would put more info on their site... possibly in English. :P

I hope they include display stands with the Revoltech Zoids figures. I'd like to have a display of a liger in mid-leap, something I wouldn't try with one of my HMMs.

Revoltech is a popular line of action figures from Kaiyodo. They tend to be fairly detailed and quite poseable, and are often released with display stands. The figures can be based on characters and mecha from all kinds of franchises, from Transformers, to Macross, to Evangelion, and so on. Now it seems we can add Zoids to the list.

The neck is too long and the torso too short (as usual for Zoid cats, sigh), but that is very Do Want. And I bet it won't lose multiple legs and attempt to split in half when I attempt to pose it on a display stand ;p.

I thought they are doing Blade Liger only, or is that Genosaurer (or Breaker) behind Blade Liger on the second pic there?

It's a Breaker... you can see the edge of its shield with the first part of a claw. Looks like the rest isn't done yet... or it's VERY short!

Hmm... I'm not fond of the proportions on it, but I'll have to keep an eye on it as it develops. XD

Hmm, I like these. Well, I think the Blade Liger looks a little funny haha cause of the head/neck being long. But im excited to see something new for Zoids. And the fact its a posable figure (which I love getting for my model photos) So im pretty interested. Does anyone think there will be more then these 2?

I'm sure there will be more Zoids done by Revoltech. Transformers had at least four, if I recall correctly. Maybe they'll come up with poseable wild/proto-Zoids like the ones in the ArtStatues? Wild Liger Zero and Kong? Bring it on, I say!

Kinda cool actually, reminds me of an affordable KOF 2.0 They do seem kinda out of proportion though, but this is just a proto stage so its safe to assume that it will get better.(Hopefully )

Yes I agree. There is something about the Blade liger that just bothers me haha. Yeah I hope more Zoids are made to. Would definatly be a interesting line.

The picture of the black Blade Liger looks fine, but that white prototype model is just bizarre! It looks as though the head has detached and is balanced somewhere between the Liger and the Genobreaker, except obviously it hasn't because you can see one of the blades is behind it. Did MC Escher design this model? Hopefully it's just an optical illusion caused by a very bad camera angle - I don't believe they would go ahead with production if it really looked that bad. Interestingly all Revoltech models to date have been roughly the same size, and if these match the others then they have an impressive amount of detail for how big they are.

If we are lucky, they will be the same scale than the King of Flexible Liger Zero. I think this could be the continuity of the King of Flexible. Lionel

Looks like it's based off the HMM version, which is... odd. I hope the giraffe neck is just the result of making it super-poseable and it can be posed not to... look like a giraffe.

Interesting take on the head... seems they will be going with paint rather than transparent plastic over more detailed parts. It will be interesting to see the finished products; maybe this GB will have strong enough joints to stand with all that weight? :D
