I actually prefer posable Zoids as toys action figures over kits, so I'm intrigued.

That is an interesting development. Good to see 1 more company picking up the zoids line.

Another Zoids line to collect. Still, they should be cool. Revoltech has always been about poseability.

I am SOOOOO hoping this happens...I love the Macross Revs, and Zoids versions would be even better What's not to like?...all the posable goodness of HMM's, without the steep price and explody-ness!

Other than the caption, is there any information available yet? I would love to see wider distribution, lower prices, even different colors. Of course, the far-flung hope of new designs. :)

Same here, but hopefully this will at least keep the proverbial fingers and toes from getting numb. I'm hoping they will be something like the KFM sub-line (which I have always though is what the Hasbro line should have been more like). Either way, I think I'm going to have to try an example from the line when it gets released. It seems like (from the only image released) that they already have at least a prototype ready, so I'd have to say that the line is a go. The fact that TT seems to be loosing interest in it's own line is indeed disturbing. It seems like they are letting other companies make the products. I hope that they at least keep making the models that have already been released.

Unrelated to the forum, but as a HUGE 'Aliens' fan, I think that Alien Warrior looks very good - thin, elegant and insectile, as H.R. Giger wanted it, and not the gloopy gooey rubbish they served up in the last few movies. (for the record - My ident is based on Pvt. Hudson's line "Is this a stand-up fight, sir, or another bughunt?", and the planetoid the film was set on - LV426.)

ORIGINAL: Spartan That is an interesting development. Good to see 1 more company picking up the zoids line. Yes, but bad in that Tomy seems to be losing interest in its own line! That is certainly true. Hopefully the response to the Revoltech zoids will be good enough for TT to put more effort back into developing a new line of zoids.

This is one toyline that may actually do well in USA. I think kids here are used to having their toys built and assembled out of the box.

I've been wanting Revoltech ANYTHING to come to the US* so I could get them for decent prices. *The 2007 Robot Replica (non transforming) figures from the Transformers movie sort of had bootleg revo-joints, but it was not the same.

And to think that I suspected that your ident was supposed to indicate that you like bugs! Yeah, the xenomorphs kinda freak me out, but that only makes them (and the Alien series) all the more interesting.

Dont really know Revotech, but more zoids are good zoids. Still echo the sentiments about proper zoids though- what a nightmare. Oh- and Alien, Aliens & Alien3 are ace, along with Predator & Pred 2. Shame the rest was terrible. Hopefully the new Ridely Scott one will inject something new into the universe.

I didn't even know a new one was coming out. Haven't seen the entire series, but I've seen at least most of 1, 2, and 3. None of the AVP series (except for the beginning of the first of the series). Every time I see one of them, I can't help but think that the humans of that time line could learn a thing or two from Star Fleet. The Prime Directive helps to usually (though not always) prevent strange and dangerous life forms from running amok and pretty much taking over a starship.

However they are not to be confused with the AvP videogames for PC, which are entirely unrelated plot-wise to the movies (being set in the future, Colonial Marines-era time period) and are really good...

I didnt really like both AvP movies myself personally. On the topoic of revo zoids. I kinda like the idea, I would get the ones that interest me but I couldnt get more than that due the actual zoids that I dont possess yet taking priority.

Yeah, I'd probably do the same thing. I'd get one just to test the line, and probably try focusing the rest of my resources on model kits. Unfortunately, it is this strategy that has caused me to only get a few examples from the Blox lines.

Action figures? Meh. I mean, anything happening with Zoids is a good thing, but... meh.
