HMM Zoids Review Contest 2008

Background
ZP will be holding the 1st round of contest for members of Zoidspoison to submit pictures of their HMM Zoids and reviews starting 21 July - 2 August 2008 (or until Commandwolf AC is released if the kit is delayed). But that doesn't mean one cannot start preparing now

Contents for Submission
1. Minimum 5 photos of your HMM Zoids kit. As with all reviews, the photos must have one that shows the box, the sprues, and manual. Minimum resolution should be 640X480 (no maximum)

2. Review write-up should ideally state the "likes" and "dislikes" about the kit, the process of building it, recommendations, and the rating that one would give the kit on a scale of 1-10.

3. Submission must be sent via email to liemzoids@zoidspoison.com with the title: HMM ZOIDS REVIEW CONTEST 2008

Prizes
It is easy to guess why the contest must end early August since ZP is giving out HMM Commandwolf AC that is targeted for release in end-July. Unless the release is delayed, we should be looking at closing the contest on 2 August.

Depending on the numbers and level of entries, up to 3 HMM Commandwolf ACs are up for grab for the best 3 entries. ZP will also bear the shipping cost.

In an event where the Kits ended up like Zoids Graphic Malder (pre-ordered but ended up being helpless), ZP reserves the right to substitute with another kit of equivalent value.

Judging
100% via member's vote. Each member is only allowed to cast 1 vote each and cannot vote for his/her own entry.

Voting date will be decided later.

Others
1. Members can submit more than 1 entry. However, only 1 winning entry per member.

2. Members are allowed to submit HMM kits that have been built and showcased on ZP previously. However, it is recommended that some of the photos be retaken for an element of "surprise". Naturally, humans being humans are unlikely to vote for stuff that they have seen before

3. HMM Kits can be custom painted or can be in their original kit colours. But the kit should not be modified into a custom structurally.

4. Participants must agree to allow ZP to use the photos and reviews submitted for its site. Of course, the copyrights and whatever will stay with the members. We are using the photos and reviews with your understanding.

Have fun.

Great idea !

But it will be without me .

I'm leaving on holidays tomorrow, and won't be there for 3 weeks. And more, I'm always taking a lot and a lot of time to build a HMM kit, I won't be able to do a review in one day.

Don't worry, we have more coming up with the releases of HMM Zoids.

I am trying to build my Saber Tiger too. That kit is a masterpiece

I guess its a good way to encourage people to contribute reviews, as I haven't seen much lately by others than WIKD, M_W, Stormhawk.  And unfortunately I am doing job searching, so I won't be able to participate.  Good luck to those who participate!

Liger's in storage, so I will probably do some other HMM if I have the time. My Command Wolf Empire LC is still boxed up.

Take the poor kitty out from the dark for a walk

I have been waiting for the HMM CP07 to come along before I start on my Saber Tiger, but guess I will have to forgo that.

OT: So many Nacho signature and avatars. I am going to start my couch-potato gang munching potato chips

I've been very busy these days at the warehouse that I can hardly got time to do a HMM. But I remembered I got a half cooked Blade Liger around
and been deciding should I take part in this? Man I am really really busy you know! Now if I can be blessed with charismatic powers that can do things in amazing speed -_-"

Im also very busy too!!!!! Too busy with sleep!!!!! arghhhhh!!!
Bro u muz use the ZP customization winners as an example, they manage to do their customization in an amzing short period of time inclusive of cutting up parts n painting them like in 1 or 2 weeks despite their very busy schedule.
So...DO IT!!!!!

Well, I would LOVE to give this a shot! I know I already submitted my MK-II review... but there is SO MUCH more detail I could have gone into. :D I think I might spruce it up a bit and enter.

And the prize looks great. <3 for ZP.

Uwaah, I'd totally enter my HMM if I knew I could build it in time...ah well, perhaps if there's a next time.

I am looking forward to seeing some new reviews. Reviews are always nice to read.

Decided to just totally redo my MK-II review just for this contest.

Wish I had another HMM to do a review of. xD

Yeah - a fantastic set of reviews.  I'm just not going to have time to finish mine today unfortunately - I still haven't finished putting the stickers on, never mind writing the review.  I gues I just left it too late...

[Not that I would have had any chance of winning, given the very high standard set by the reviews posted! ]
