LEVIATHAN
Marine Turtle Type
By its very name, the Leviathan is a very large Zoid. The Zoid is armed with an artillery cannon, pulse laser cannons, missiles, and depth charges. The Zoid is heavily armored, to compensate for its lack of maneuverability. However, as an artillery platform, it can easily level the enemy from long range.
Other than being an and artillery assault zoid, it couples as a transport zoid as well. After it is done with bombarding the area, it can beach itself and land a small invasion force, comprising of small land zoids and small air support vehicles.
While initially deemed very promising, due to the very high maintenance requirements and costs (especially on rust treatment), only very few were built, and pictured here is one of the last running models.
